Maroon 5's sixth studio LP, Red Pill Blues, was gifted to the world on November 3, and since its release it has garnered much attention for its diversity, old-soul style approach to modern pop music, and Levine's intriguing vocal presentation. The group may have dabbled–more like took a big dive into the dance-pop swimming pool since 2011's monster hit "Moves Like Jagger" showcased the band's jarring transition from blue-eyed soul to synthesized radio hits–but it's Red Pill Blues that proves Maroon 5 kings of pop and more than just that; they have crafted their most masterful pop album since 2007's It Won't Be Soon Before Long.
